7th Annual "Walk for the Angels"
Walk-A-Thon
Walk for the Angels walk-a-thon is one of God's Tiny
Angels Support Group's fundraising events. The purpose of this event is to
celebrate Pregnancy
and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, which is October 15th, and to honor
the lives of those babies who have gone before us. We also intend to raise
awareness of the struggle that parents and families face when experiencing the
loss of a child. We are here to let them know that they are not alone and
we have not forgotten!
How does it work?
Each individual is encouraged to collect as many
pledges as possible prior to
the walk. Funds are collected the day of the walk upon checking in.
Funds raised from this event help us provide financial assistance for funerals
to families in need. The funds also help us continue to provide programs
and services throughout the year.
We will have lunch, t-shirts, DJ, face painting, basket
raffles (tickets 3 for $1.00) and GTA items for sale (cash or check)

Located on the NE corner of Wales
and Hankins
From Canton: take 12th St West, it turns into Hankins, the church will
be on the right as the road dead ends into Wales, turn right into church
parking lot
From Massillon: take Wales Rd North, take a right on Hankins, turn left
into the church parking lot.
**Please note: the walk is typically held at the
Reservoir Park, which is across the street from First Christian Church.
We have decided to try an indoor location this year. We will gather in
the church hall for registration, opening ceremony, face painting and
basket raffles. We will go outside and walk the neighborhood. Upon
returning to the church, there will be lunch, basket winners, balloon
release and closing ceremony** |

Registration
You can register for the walk online or by mailing in the
registration form. Click here to register each
individual. Everyone is
encouraged to register prior to the walk, however, you may register the day of
the walk. There is a $5.00 registration fee, which includes a t-shirt and
lunch. T-shirts are not guaranteed if you do not pre-register.
